Ribbon Scrunchie
Beautiful cotton ribbon+scrunchies, sewn by refugee women at a Dallas nonprofit VTC. These accessories are plant-dyed and blockprinted by a 3rd generation blockprinter in Pakistan.
Summer style tip: Remove the slim scrunchie and tie the ribbon around your favorite hat for a brunch date.
Care: Store your accessories in a pouch, sewn by VTC’s refugee sewers. Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Air dry.
A note on blockprinted fabric: Blockprinting is done by taking carved wooden pieces and making prints on fabric by hand. This tradition is thousands of years old, preserved and practiced in Sindh region of Pakistan. Some print may be smudged, or dyes (especially black or indigo) may run a little but will stabilize after a few washes.
